Professional Mission Statement

First and foremost, I take the time to listen to my clients, because I believe that you cannot properly represent someone in any matter without understanding who they are and the details of their individual case. Where some attorneys focus on trying to pigeonhole their clients into the mold of other cases that they have already prepared and tried, I hear my clients’ individual story and then apply the law to get them justice. I have successfully helped clients in a wide variety of areas, including The Michigan Consumer Protection Act, The Pricing and Advertising Act, The Fair Debt Collection Act, Premises Liability, Products Liability, Labor & Employment Law, and Fraud. If you have been wronged by a big company and need someone in your corner, let me help you.

Background

I received my law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. While a student, the Law Review selected me for membership, and I also completed the rigorous requirements to attain a Certificate of Advanced Study in Civil Litigation. I graduated magna cum laude, at the top of my Law School class, and was accepted into the prestigious Order of the Coif. To hone my skills, from 2005 to 2008, I worked for Steptoe & Johnson, a civil litigation firm that employs more than two hundred attorneys. I then attained a position with the State of Michigan Court of Appeals, where I drafted opinions on appellate cases.
