WHAT DO I STILL PAY?

NON-DISCHARGEABLE DEBTS

Some debts can’t be eliminated, even through Bankruptcy.  These are the obligations you should continue to pay before and during your case.

Here are some debts commonly reported which are not discharged:

STUDENT LOANS
CHILD SUPPORT
PROPERTY SETTLEMENTS FROM A DIVORCE
DEBTS FOR INJURY OR DEATH FROM DRINKING AND DRIVING
DEBTS FROM INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE CAUSED BY WILLFUL HARM
During your bankruptcy and after you should still make payments to these creditors.

PROPERTY YOU WISH TO KEEP - Keep paying on your mortgage, car loans and any other secured property you wish to keep during your bankruptcy. You may not receive bills or monthly statements during this time, so please make sure you know the address of the creditor.
